Our Unique Partners

Current Unique Partners for Traumatic Brain Injury

Mothers Against Brain Injury is our first Unique Partner for Traumatic Brain Injury and we are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of their wonderful work. Mothers Against Brain Injury was founded by Tracy Porter, a mother who began an unexpected journey in 2004, when her 16 year old son suffered a traumatic brain injury in a car accident. In 2005, she started the "Totes of Comfort & Hope" Program to help future families faced with this journey. Large canvas tote bags filled with toiletries, comfort items, useful tools and valuable information on TBI are packaged and sent out to all Florida Designated Trama Centers, where they are personally handed to a family member of any person suffering a moderate or severe TBI within the first 48 hours of arrival.

How to become a Unique Partner

Unique Partnerships for Traumatic Brain Injury
Life's New Journeys selects organizations to become Unique Partners based on their proven commitment and dedication to helping families as well as enhancing community and professional awareness, education, and involvement. We provide significant funding to our Unique Partners to help expand their outreach and continue in our common goal of providing help, hope and, comfort to families in need.

*If you are involved in an outreach program for the TBI community, and would like to be considered as a Unique Partner, please contact us and tell us about your mission.

Unique Partnerships for Other Long-term Injuries and Illnesses
Life's New Journeys will design, publish, and print a custom book relating to other types of long-term injury or illness for any nonprofit organization who qualifies to become a Unique Partner. There is no charge for this service, now or ever. Since each partnership is different due to the nature of the cause, each partnership is custom designed to meet the needs of your organizations mission. Contact us for more information on how we can help support your cause.

*Please note that we are limited to the number of partnerships we can accept each year due to the time and work involved with each new program. Unique Partnerships are developed to provide additional funding to organizations who are fighting to make a difference in the lives of families facing long-term injury illness.
