If your family has been struck with the unexpected journey of a long-term traumatic injury or illness, please know that you are not alone. My family began a similar journey on June 24, 2003 when my daughter Tiffany was involved in a major car accident resulting in a traumatic brain injury.
At that time, I had no idea what that meant or what I would need to do as we moved forward in the recovery process. Five years later, our journey continues and I have learned to forgive myself for the many mistakes that I made due to the lack of information, resources, and support that we needed at the onset of our journey. I realized that I could not correct the mistakes I made in the early days of our journey, but I could use those experiences to help future families begin their journey.
It became my passion to find a way to help other families by providing the support and information they would need from the beginning of their journey and beyond. At Life's New Journeys, we understand that the emotional depth of these situations make it difficult to process everything (including information about medical treatment, insurance claims, and, if necessary, legal representation). It is my desire that Life's New Journey will help you avoid the pitfalls I experienced by providing these essential resources.
As Life's New Journeys continues to grow, we hope to strengthen and encourage you and other families in need. I pray that my book as well as this supporting website will make a difference in the lives of families facing a long-term injury or illness.

Our Mission
- To expand the complimentary distribution of A New Journey - Traumatic Brain Injury, to insure that every family throughout Florida has received this gift to help them begin their journey.
- To support families by providing a website that offers a single source for locating information, resources, and a complete network of specialty providers and services within each of the 7 major regions in the state of Florida.
- To provide significant funding to our Unique Partners for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), who are selected based on their commitment and dedication to help families as well as enhance community and professional awareness, education, and involvement.
- To begin a series of New Journey books that will provide assistance to families and organizations who are facing other types of long-term injuries and illnesses.
