ABOUT OUR BOOK, A NEW JOURNEY - TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY
A New Journey - Traumatic Brain Injury provides families with advance instructions and simple forms to maintain the abundance of information that begins to accumulate from the moment of injury. Details that will be essential for future medical, legal, and insurance issues are often lost when your only focus is on the survival and recovery of a loved one. Through a Unique Partnership with Mothers Against Brain Injury, we provide this book free of charge to be included in their "Totes of Comfort and Hope".  Large canvas tote bags filled with toiletries, comfort items, useful tools and valuable information on TBI are packaged and sent out to all Florida Designated Trauma Centers, where they are personally handed to a family member of any person suffering a moderate or severe TBI within the first 48 hours of arrival.

This website will soon provide a single source for locating providers, services, resources, and information involving long-term injury and illness. As we continue to grow, we hope to strengthen and encourage families as well as continue in our efforts to raise community awareness and involvement throughout the state of Florida.
